Obituary
Patricia J. Piehler, 87, passed away with her family by her side on Saturday, April 13, 2024.
Pat was born in Racine on March 17, 1937, to Gerhard and Margaret (nee; Radewan) Piehler. She graduated from Racine Lutheran High School. Pat was a lifetime member of St. John Lutheran Church. She was a member of the choir and bell choir. Pat was employed by Singer, JI Case and Prince of Peace Lutheran Church before fully retiring. Pat loved being an aunt and enjoyed taking care of her nieces and nephews. She also enjoyed researching genealogy. Pat lived a very faithful life that she modeled for everyone she knew, especially her family. The family is very thankful that she was able to share that and personal messages with every member of her family at
the end of her life.
Pat is survived by sisters Christine (Ray) Piehler Vance and Heide Piehler and brothers Richard (Wendy) Piehler and Thomas (Amy) Piehler, nieces and nephews Nikki (Patrick McCaffery) and Dani Vance, Andrew, Emily (Matt Rowntree) Abby Piehler, Aaron (Morgan), Austin and Alexander Piehler. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. Pat was preceded in death by her father, mother, stepmother Millie Piehler and grandmother Lena Radewan.
A visitation for Pat will be held at St. John Lutheran Church, 1501 Erie Street on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Private inurnment will take place in Mound Cemetery. Memorials to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church have been suggested.
The family would like to give a heartfelt thank you to David, Lisa and the Accent Hospice team that cared for her.
