Patricia J. "Pat" Paragamian, 84, passed away at Ascension Hospital on October 21, 2022 with her loving son by her side.
Pat was born in Racine to Harry and Stella (nee: Betko) Clazmer on May 17, 1938. She married Perry Paragamian at St. Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church on January 25, 1958. Pat was an active member of St. Mesrob Women's Guild, visited many shut-ins, was chair of the funeral committee, and worked endless hours baking and cooking for the Armenian Festival. Pat was very family oriented and family meant everything to her. She was a devoted homemaker and mother. She loved to bake and share with friends and family her famous chocolate cakes and brownies; she was also a great cook.
Pat is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Perry Paragamian; children Christine (Jon) Pappas, Terrie (Todd) Larson, Lisa (Jim) Mahnke, and Brian (Jodi) Paragamian; grandchildren Caitlin & Carly Larson, Christopher & Erika Pappas, Cameron & Marissa Mahnke, Anthony Gonzales; 8 great-grandchildren, Leighton & London, Sophia, Penelope & Olivia, Andre, Roman and Jocelyn, and special niece and nephew Gary & Debbie Stelzer. She is also survived by her brother Thomas (Dee) Clazmer, sister n law Martha Clazmer and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, Eugene (Doris) Clazmer, Richard (Jean) Clazmer, Robert (Mary Ann) Clazmer and Clarence Clazmer, brothers in law and sister in law, Sam Paragamian, Al (Tillie) Paragamian, and Louie (Jo) Paragamian and a special aunt, Bernice Betko.
Funeral services for Pat will be held at St. Mesrob Armenian Church on October 28, 2022 with Fr. Avedis Kalayjian and Fr. Yeprem Kelegian.
Visitation will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at St. Mesrob Armenian Church, 4605 Erie St., Racine, WI followed by the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Internment will take place at Graceland Cemetery. Memorials can be made to St. Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church.
