RACINE – Patricia Jane Hoffman, 83, was called to her eternal home onFriday, March 23, 2018.Patricia was born in Racine on June 30, 1934 to James and Edna (nee, Bolman) Flanigan. She married George A. Hoffman, Sr. on January 28, 1954 in Jacksonville, Florida where George was in the Navy. They began raising their children with God as the head of their household. Patricia and George celebrated57 years of marriage before his death on September 23, 2011.Survivors include her children, George A. Hoffman, Jr., Holly (Curt) Spieker, DeeAnn Hoffman and Amy (Randy) Fortel; grandchildren, Andrew (Angela) Spieker, Katie (Josh) Chapman, Adam (Michelle) Spieker, Joshua Hoffman, Lauren (Damon) Farrow and Caleb Hoffman; great-grandchildren, Kelsey Chapman, Ezekiel Spieker, Jonah Spieker, Addie Chapman, Eleanor Reece, Cara Farrow, Evelyn Spieker, Makenna Farrow, Evan Spieker, and Eli Spieker; her brothers, Thomas (Joyce) Flanigan and Michael Flanigan. Patricia is also survived by her loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.We thank God for the wonderful blessing of her life. The sorrow we bear with the loss of this beautiful child of God will be carried to the Lord in prayer as she so faithfully taught us all throughout our lives. She surely was our strong Christian role model and prayer warrior.Patricia touched so many lives with her kindness and love. We all knew how much she cared for each of us, and she prayed that we stay faithful to God. She shared Jesus' love, and as the bible teaches us in John 4:19 - We love, because He first loved us.Funeral services for Patricia will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2065Geneva Street on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Stephen Jennings officiating. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 12 noonuntil the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. Memorials may be directed to TrinityLutheran Church or the Salvation Army.The family thanks God for all of her family and friends that prayed for her over the years.
