Pasqualino Basilio Germanotta'Buzzy'Racine- Pasqualino Basilio Germanotta, 57, passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare-SMMC.Basilio was born in Capo D'Orlando, Sicily, Italy on December 1, 1949 to Salvatore and Giuseppina (nee: Gumina) Germanotta. He worked for Twin Disc for several years prior to working at Infusino's for over 20 years. Basilio enjoyed watching the Packers play football. He also enjoyed spending time with his family especially Sunday dinners at his brother's house. Basilio had a heart of gold and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.Basilio is survived by his son, Art B. Germanotta of Fond du Lac; a brother and sister in law, Nunzio (Winifred) Germanotta; two sisters and brothers in law, Graziella (Antonio) Letizia of Rome, Italy and Francesca (Roger) Pietsch of Racine; nieces and nephews, Darlene Germanotta, Ryan (Isabelle) Germanotta all of Racine, Francesco (Manuela) Letizia, Gianluca Letizia, and Loredana (Roberto) Paris all of Rome Italy, Anthony Pietsch, Andrew Pietsch, and Alex Pietsch all of Racine; great nieces, Juliette Germanotta, Martina Paris, and Mariah Pietsch. He is also survived by an aunt, Antonia Costantino and an uncle, Joe (Emma) Gumina, and cousins, and many special friends at Infusino's. Basilio was preceded in death by his parents, Salvatore and Giuseppina Germanotta, and his former wife and mother of his son, Deborah Blitz.Funeral Services for Basilio will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, July 8, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. with Fr. Jack Shirley, O.S.A. officiating. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy. 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, Memorials to the family would be appreciated.
