Racine- Norman R. Voll, 90, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare-All Saints.Norman was born in Racine on August 31, 1921 to Emil and Minnie (nee: Horn) Voll. He married the former LaVerne Klepel on June 8, 1948 at Trinity Lutheran Church. She preceded him in death on April 3, 2004. Norman served in the United States Army Corps during WW II. He was also an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Postal Union for over 60 years. Norman is survived by his sons and daughter in law, Dennis Voll and Ronald (Lynda) Voll; grandsons, Matthew (Colleen) Voll, Timothy (Erin) Voll, and Jonathan (Lindsay) Voll; great-grandchildren, Natalie, Ella, Joshua and Rhys Voll; brother, Clarence Voll; sister-in-law, Ruth Voll; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Doris Eickhorst and Earl (Shirley) Klepel. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral services for Norman will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2065 Geneva Street, on Monday, October 3, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Stephen Jennings officiating. Interment will take place in Mound Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Monday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of the services. Memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church.
