Norman Rissley, Sr.Racine- Norman Rissley, Sr., 68, passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at his home with his family at his side.Norm was born on January 20, 1940 to Milton and Anna (nee: Smidt) Rissley. He was raised in Michigan and served his country in the United States Army. Norm married Dixie Lee Fassett and enjoyed 46 years of marriage. He was a crane operator for Central Steel until his retirement. Norm enjoyed fishing, watching Nascar, and Packers. Most importantly he enjoyed spending time with his family. Norm showed a great amount of courage after having surgery to remove a brain tumor. He will be missed deeply by his family.He is survived by his wife Dixie Rissley; Children, Norman (Cathy) Rissley, Jr., Sherry Westphal, and Carl (Char) Rissley; 14 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, brothers and sisters. Norm is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services for Norm will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, March 29, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Mike Cundari officiating. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Saturday from 3:00 p.m. until the time of services.
