Nondas M. HanskeRacine- Nondas M. Hanske, 91, passed into Gods care on August 28, at Woods of Caledonia Assisted Living in Caledonia Wisconsin. She joins her parents Richard and Mary Hitzemann, husband of 54 years Robert W. Hanske, son William J. Hanske, daughter-in-law Peggy McIntire Hanske, grandsons Collin and Kyle McCarthy. She has gone to heaven to watch over: son Robert W Hanske, Vicki Hanske, daughters: Nondee Jones(Frank), Marlaine Johnson and Audra McCarthy. Carrying on her legacy are grandchildren Tasia, Nick, Bill, Bethany, Katy, Morgan, Owen, Derric, Clinton, and Ariana; great-grandchildren Sam, Amelia, Madilyn, Emily, Kinley, Gabrielle, Felix, April, Kaitlyn, Corben, Gavin and Athena. Nondas was an 86 year resident of Chicago; graduate of North Park Conservatory High School, executive secretary at Pullman Standard Company, and studied voice at North Park College. She spent over 25 years volunteering as a Cub Scout/Boy Scout leader, Campfire/Girl Scout leader, PTA officer during her years with Ebinger Elementary, while a homemaker, and member of Edison Park United Methodist Church. Her family wishes to thank the staff at Woods of Caledonia, Wisconsin, for their compassion and care for 3 years; Seasons Hospice for their excellent support with Alzheimers Care; the Susannah Wesley Friendship Circle of Edison Park Methodist Church-for many years of friendship and love; the care of Pastor Chris Lockie of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church; and all the extended family and people who have stayed in touch throughout the years.
