She was born in Chicago on August 15, 1928 to Nell B. Lewis.
Nellie enjoyed gardening and watching movies.
She is survived by her son Joe (Trina Carino) Carney; her daughter Sue (Steve) Burton; her grandchildren Bonnie Piccolo, Brooke Piccolo and Amber Junkel; and her great-granddaughter Octavia.
She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Czechowski, her son Michael Carney; and her daughters Bonnie and Debra Carney.
Services for Nellie were held privately.
