RACINE – Nancy J. Fiskum, 81, passed away at Ascension Hospital – Franklin on Sunday, January 7, 2018. Nancy was born in Wisconsin Rapids on March 17, 1936 to Edward and Irene (nee, Smolark) Halbur. On March 31, 1954, Nancy married Marlo O. Fiskum in Rochester, MN. He preceded her in death on April 5, 1997. Nancy was a hard worker who enjoyed gardening, traveling and going to casinos, but most of all she loved kids, especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include her sons, David (Karen) Fiskum and Dean Fiskum; daughters, Donna Perez, Diane (Scott) Doudna and Doreen (Tom) Wishau; grandchildren, Chris (Mersedes) Perez, Nicole (DJ) Grundy, Jamie (Aaron) Wirth, Heather (TJ) Bronenkant, and Bailey (Tim) and Bryce Wishau; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Taylor, Marlo, Leo, Quintin, Gigi and Laila; brothers, Edward (Barb) Halbur, Richard Halbur and Robert Halbur; and brothers-in-law, William Johnson and David Schaefer. Nancy was a special foster grandparent to Richard and Tremayne and is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Meissner; sisters-in-law, Dolly Johnson and Beverly Schaefer; brother-in-law, Robert Fiskum; nephew, Donnie Schaefer; and niece, Sandy Schaefer. A visitation for Nancy will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 12, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. A service will follow at 6:30 p.m. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the ICU staff at Ascension Hospital in Franklin for all their care and compassion.
