Racine – Nancy L. Borgardt, 74, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints on Saturday, October 17, 2015. Nancy was born in Moline, IL on September 14, 1941 to Earl and Mary Jane (nee, Lundberg) Ehen. Nancy married Thomas R. Borgardt on June 3, 1961 at Holy Communion Lutheran Church in Racine. She was an Executive Secretary at S.C. Johnson for over seventeen years, retiring in June 1997. Nancy volunteered for Toys for Tots for many years, sewing doll clothes. Survivors include her husband, Thomas R. Borgardt; sons, Richard Borgardt and Robert (Debra) Borgardt; grandchildren, Jennifer, Annette, Nicole and twins, Ashley and Meagan; sister, Mary Jo Lang and nieces and nephew; and brother-in-law, James (Linda) Borgardt and niece, Robyn. Nancy is also survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her father-in-law and mother-in-law; and brother-in-law, Robert Lang. Funeral services for Nancy will be held at Holy Communion Lutheran Church, 2000 W. 6th Street, on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 12 noon. A private family interment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Wednesday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 12 noon. Memorials may be directed to Holy Communion Lutheran Church Building Fund. The family would like to express their appreciation to Dr. Ryan Engel and his staff for their excellent care and compassion.
