Myron A. Eder Racine - Myron A. Eder, 79, passed away at his home on Monday, June 2, 2008. Myron was born in St. Bonifacius, MN on October 7, 1928 to Leonard and Theresa (nee, Bauer) Eder. He married the former Joan Eagen. She preceded him in death in 2006. Myron served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He retired from Bunn Capitol where he had been employed in sales for many years. Myron loved to fish and watch hockey, but most of all he loved spending time and playing with his grandchildren. Survivors include his sons, Brian (Margaret) Eder and Mark (Terri) Eder; grandchildren, Carmen and Sean Eder; and sisters, Germaine Ford and Ann Rose Haglund. Myron is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Maynard Eder; and sister, Agnes Carlquist. Funeral services for Myron will be held at the funeral home on Monday, June 9, 2008 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Stephen Stradinger officiating. Interment will follow at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Monday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of services. Memorials may be directed to St. Mary's by the Lake Catholic Church.
