Monique M. Hewitt
Racine- Monique M. Hewitt, 83, passed away at Ridgewood Care Center on Monday, June 3, 2024.
Monique was born in France on July 20, 1940 to Leon and Renee (nee:Herve`) Rabion. She immigrated to the United States when she was 24 years old. Monique was employed as a translator in France. She sold Avon for over 18 years and most recently working at the Domes. A job she absolutely loved and was affectionately known as the French Lady in the gift shop. She liked to shop at Pier one imports and paint. She enjoyed art especially French artists such as Van Gogh. Her favorite celebrities were Johnny Depp, Jermaine Jackson and Elvis Presley. Monique loved spending time with her son antiquing and was an avid cat lover.
She is survived by her son Stephen (Don Shepard) Hewitt. Monique was preceded in death by her son Brian Hewitt.
Private services for Monique will be held.
