Mitchell C. Arents Racine - Mitchell C. Arents, 54, passed away at his home on Monday, January 21, 2008. Mitch was born in Racine on August 1, 1953 to LeRoy and Julie (nee, Gerve) Arents. He married the former Pam Tieze. Mitch was employed by Harley Davidson in Milwaukee. He was an avid sports fan especially the Packers. He loved to fish, but most of all he loved spending time with his children. Survivors include his wife, Pam Arents; children, Chad Arents, Tim Arents and Jennifer Arents; step-children, Steve Gaskill, Amber Gaskill and Ashley Gaskill; mother, Julie Arents; brother, Doug (Marcie) Arents; sister, Lisa (Mike) Koenen; mother-in-law, Lois Tieze; brothers-in-law, Jeff (Barb) Tieze and Joe Tieze; cousin, Don (Kathy) Weimer; aunts, Ann Gerve and Joyce Weimer; and special friend, Gary Kruck. Mitch is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father; and aunt, Claire Gerve. Funeral services for Mitch will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, January 24, 2008 at 7 p.m. with Rev. Jack Shirley, O.S.A. officiating. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery on Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5 p.m. until the time of services. Memorials may be directed to the family.
