RACINE – Mildred Ida Klepel, (nee, Warling), 91, passed away at home on Thursday, May 7, 2015. Mill was born in Racine, WI on March 6, 1924 to John and Ida (nee, Gundermann) Warling. On May 16, 1944 she married William Klepel at Camp Hood, TX. He preceded her in death on September 2, 2001. Mill and Bill loved to travel throughout the U.S., spending the winter months as snowbirds in Truth or Consequences, NM and the summer months at their house on Crane Lake in Pickerel, WI. She is survived by her sons, James (Linda) Klepel and Roy (Lynn) Klepel; grandchildren, Craig (Emily) Klepel, Stacey (Robin) Kiefer, Kelli (Andrew) Steenrod, Anna (Jeff) Carroll and Aaron (Nicole) Klepel ; great grandchildren, Hunter, Garrett, Alaina, Kiley, Ginger, River, Zack and Evan; and her sisters, Adeline Freiburger, Elaine (William) Kammerait, Dorothy Hillerud. Mill is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters. Funeral Services for Mill will be held at the funeral home on Monday, May 11, 2015 at 12 noon. A private interment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the funeral home on Monday morning from11 a.m. until the time of the service at 12 noon. Memorials may be directed to Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Caledonia or the American Heart Association.
