RACINE – Michael R. Johnson, 49, passed away at Froedtert Lutheran Memorial Hospital in Wauwatosa on Friday, August 8, 2014. Mike was born in Racine on March 30, 1965 to Richard Johnson and Joan (nee, Szabo) Swetish. He married the love of his life, the former Christine Baab and have been together for more than thirty years. Mike was a CNC Programmer for Pioneer Products for twenty-seven years. He enjoyed fishing and loved the Packers. Mike was a fun loving person and would help anybody in need. Mike loved his wife, his home and his many friends. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Mike is survived by his wife, Christine Johnson; mother, Joan Swetish; sister, Susan Arneson; brother, Richard Johnson; and his beloved niece, Kristen Arneson. Mike is also survived by his mother-in-law, Peggy Baab; aunt and uncle, Louis and Dorothy Szabo; other relatives and many, many friends too numerous to mention. He was preceded in death by his father; Richard Johnson; Paternal grandparents, Ralph and Evangeline Johnson; and maternal grandparents, Louis and Joan Szabo. Funeral services for Mike will be held at the funeral home this Wednesday evening, August 13, 2014 at 7 p.m. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
