Mavis E. Bolts Racine – Mavis E. Bolts, nee, Bacot, 88, passed away at her home on Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Mavis was born in Lansing, MI, daughter of George W. and Fredonia (nee, Lane) Bacot. She married Trueart V. Bolts on September 1, 1941. He preceded her in death on August 30, 1991. Mavis was employed by St. Luke's Hospital for over 26 years and was a devoted member of Jehovah's Witness Congregation. Mavis is survived by her daughters, Patricia L. Bolts, Janet R. Bolts and Sylvia E. Scott all of Racine; grandsons, Sean S. Cole of Grand Prairie, TX and Kyle (Tamara) D. Kelley of Oakland, CA; great-grandchildren, Aaron S. Cole, Cameron S. Cole both of Grand Prairie, TX, Kyle D. Kelley, Jr. of Oakland, CA and Amani E. Kelley of Fairfield, CA; and special nieces, Bonnie Clark of Lansing, MI and Jennifer J. Davis of Dayton, Ohio. Mavis is also survived by many other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Jessie Bacot; son, George Anthony Bolts; daughter, Trudy Veronica Bolts and sister, Georgette E. Anders. Memorial services for Mavis will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at 11 a.m. Inurnment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of services.The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Joseph Mathew and Yvonne Blair for all of their compassionate care; the staff at Hospice Alliance for their support and to Sara Reeves and Jessica Sanchez for all of their spiritual care.
