Racine – Mary Ann Skrzypek, 80, passed away at Lincoln Village Convalescent Center on Wednesday, January 20, 2010. Mary Ann was born in Connersville, IN on February 23, 1929 to Edward J. and Alice L. (nee, Seifer) Meyer. She married Raymond J. Skrzypek, Sr. in Connersville on June 12, 1972. He preceded her in death on November 10, 2006. Mary Ann worked for Moxness Products for sixteen years before retiring from the Racine Motor Inn in 1984 after more than sixteen years of service. Mary Ann is survived by a special cousin, Margaret Macke, several other cousins; special friends, James Marcotte and Wilma Offutt; and many other dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and daughters, Marsha Lee and Melissa Ann; brother, Irvin Meyer; and sister, Lee Meyer. Funeral services for Mary Ann will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 12 Noon with Rev. Donald Johnson officiating. Entombment will take place in Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services.
