Mary A. Maxwell Mary A. Maxwell, 71, passed away at Zilber Family Hospice on Saturday, August 1, 2009. Mary was born in Darlington, WI on November 17, 1937 to Francis W. and Anna E. (nee, McWilliams) Poppa. She married James P. Maxwell on February 2, 1958 in Madison, WI. He preceded her in death. Survivors include her sons, Michael (Beth) Maxwell and Timothy (Beth) Maxwell; grandchildren, Zachary (Amy), Aimee (Greg), James and Dylan; Great-grandchildren, Brayden and Emily; brother, Francis (Judith) Poppa and Thomas Poppa; and sisters, Elizabeth (Richard) Beale, Patricia Dayton Strand and Susan (Ronald) Walz. Mary is also survived by other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Patrick J. Maxwell. Mass for Mary will be held at St. Matthew's Church, 9303 S. Chicago Road, Oak Creek, on Monday, August 3, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. celebrated by Rev. Patrick O'Loughlin. Inurnment will take place at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Monday from 4 p.m. until the time of Mass.
