Mary Lou KirshRacine- Mary Lou Kirsh, 84, passed away at Elizabeth Residence on Monday, December 13, 2010.Mary Lou was born in Racine on October 21, 1926 to Hilmer and Lillian (Williamson) Fyhrie. She married Donald Kirsh in Racine on September 22, 1951. He preceded her in death in 1984. Mary Lou was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She enjoyed watching sports especially the Bucks, Brewers and Packers, traveling, golfing, ceramics and playing cards.She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Nancy (Tim) Andersen; granddaughter, Becky (Troy) Peppler; great grandson, Brody Peppler; sister, Marge Henricksen; sister in law, Lois Ritchey; brother in law, Ray (Bette) Kirsh and cousin, Mitzi (Clarence) Ivanowski. Mary Lou is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her sons, Tom and Bill Kirsh, parents, mother and father in law, George and Alma Kirsh; brother, Jerry (Betty) Fyhrie and brothers in law, George Henricksen and Jim Ritchey. Funeral services for Mary Lou will be held at the funeral home on Friday, December 17, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Rosalind Dryver-Scott officiating. Interment will take place in Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Friday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services. The family would like to thank the staff at Elizabeth Residence and Season's Hospice for the compassionate care given to Mary Lou.
