Racine – Mary Lou DiPasquale, nee, Chiausky, passed away in the comfort of her home at the age of 78 after a 36 year struggle with Parkinson's disease. Mary Lou was born in Racine on November 24, 1932, and was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Mary (nee, Cilmo) Chiausky. Mary Lou's greatest gifts and the legacy that she leaves are her strength of character, wisdom, insight, values and deep love for her family.Mary Lou is the beloved wife of Sam DiPasquale, her devoted husband of 58 years and primary caretaker for many years. Loving mother of Jeri DiPasquale, Gary (Janine) DiPasquale, Sandra DiPasquale and Bill (Laurie) DiPasquale; treasured grandmother of Shaun, Erin, Jim, Lisa, Stephanie and Jon; and great-grandmother of Kailey and Liam. Mary Lou is also survived by her sister, Doris Britson; sister-in-laws, Dorothy Mianecki and Ida Johnson; special friend, Jean Van Dam; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service for Mary Lou will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at 12:30 p.m. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
