Mary F. Anderson, 95, passed away at St. Monica's on Friday June 18, 2021. Mary was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on July 13, 1925, to Arnold and Ramona (nee, Chamberlain) Forbes. She married James V. DeFrancesco, and resided in Rochester, NY. He preceded her in death. She later moved to Orange County, CA, and married Paul Anderson on April 1, 1979. Paul and Mary retired to Oregon where she and Paul built a home at the base of a mountain. She became involved in a charitable women's organization called the TARTS, which often supported education and would crochet mittens and scarves for elementary school children. They all used aliases for their work. Her name was Lady Aster, expressing her sense of humor. Paul and Mary were also longtime community theatre members in California and Oregon. She was a longtime member of the P.E.O. as well. Mary remained loyal to her roots and was a lifelong Cornhuskers fan. Church was important to her. After moving to Kenosha, she attended St. Matthews Episcopal Church. Survivors include her sister, Betty Weigel; son, Tom (Linda) DeFrancesco; stepchildren, Paul (Debra) Anderson, Kirsten Anderson and Helen Gill Anderson; grandchildren, Sara (Joel) Morey, Alyssa (Ben) Arzikovic and Michael (Emelia Westerberg) DeFrancesco; great grandchildren, Lincoln Morey, Quinton Morey, Olive Arzikovic and Bo Arzikovic. In addition to her husband James DeFrancesco, Mary was preceded in death by her husband Paul Anderson and stepdaughter, Heather Anderson.
