RACINE – Mary Patricia Ahlf, 73, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints on Sunday, March 15, 2015. Mary Pat was born in Superior, WI on December 9, 1941 to the late Byron and Elaine (nee, Goblirsch) Rawn. She married Ronald G. Ahlf, celebrating 55 years of marriage. Mary Pat was an active member of St. Rita's Parish where she served as a Eucharist Minister and Catechist. She loved volunteering and cooking meals for people who couldn't. Survivors include her husband, Ronald G. Ahlf; children, Robert B. Ahlf, Ronald J. (Laura) Ahlf, Jr., Kari L. Dose and Jeffery D. Ahlf; grandchildren, Diana L. Kopecky and Justin J. Dose; great-grandchildren, Savannah Staiduhar and Donovan Paul Staiduhar; and her sisters and brother, Diane Rothery, Nancy Willette, Kathy Rawn and Ronald Rawn. Mary Pat is further survived by her mother-in-law, Lila Virginia Ahlf; and sister-in-law, Cheryl Maki; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and grandson, Winston James Ahlf. A private family memorial mass will be held for Mary Pat. Inurnment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32.
