UNION GROVE – Marvin A. Rosenwinkel, 89, passed away at the Wisconsin Veterans Home on Wednesday, April 20, 2016.Marvin was born in Elmhurst, IL on May 31, 1926 to August H. and Helen (nee, Matthews) Rosenwinkel. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Marvin married the former Jean Price. She preceded him in death in 1986. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan and ESPECIALLY an avid life-long Chicago Cubs fan!!! Survivors include his brother Elroy; brother-in-law Ralph O'Connell; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Wilmer; and his sisters, Elaine and Delores.A Memorial Service for Marvin was held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1610 Main Street, Union Grove, on Thursday, May 5, 2016 at 11 a.m. with Rev. David Ramirez officiating. Inurnment will take place in Elmhurst, IL
