Martin D. Stefferud, 80, passed away at The Villa at Lincoln Park on Thursday, April 7, 2022. Martin was born in Racine on July 30, 1941 to Chester and Helen (nee: Simonds) Stefferud. He served in the United States Marine Corps. Martin married the former Alice "Ann" Groharing. She preceded him in death in 2018. He was employed as a machinist at JI Case until his retirement. Martin enjoyed building naval models and gardening. Martin is survived by his sons, Roy and Mark Stefferud, grandchildren Valerie Stefferud, Robert (Megan) Sus, Anna (Maggie) Peeple, Samantha and Daniel Stefferud and sister Kathy Richter. He is further survived by a daughter, a grandchild, other relatives and friends. Martin was preceded in death by his older brother Orton and younger brother Jerry Stefferud. Private family services for Martin were held.
