ELMWOOD PARK – Mark A. Shumway, 72, passed away unexpectedly on Monday August 16, 2021. Mark was born in Kenosha on July 20, 1949, to the late, Elwin and Anita (nee, Triber) Shumway. He served in the U.S. Air Force, stationed in Anchorage, Alaska. Mark was a member of Kenosha Moose Lodge #286. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Shumway; children, Kristan (Eric) Mazemke, Jason (Katie) Shumway, Rebecca Sladek-Shumway and Melissa (Justin) Ferg; and his grandchildren, Colin, Elizabeth, Caleb, Joshua, Madelyn, Sidney, Matthew, Olivia, Isaac, Elise, and Isabelle. Mark is also survived by many dear friends. Mark was loved by his family and friends A service with Full Military Honors for Mark will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Thursday, October 7, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Salvation Army or the wounded Warriors Project.
