Marion Edith Sneeberger, 93, passed away peacefully at Brookdale Senior Living in Kenosha on Tuesday, January 7, 2020. Her family was with her. Marion was born in Prairie du Chien on April 19, 1926 to the late John and Ethel (nee, Wetzel) Wachter. She married Robert W. Sneeberger of Ephraim WI in 1947. They were married 53 years. He preceded her in death in 2002. Survivors include her children, Nancy Botha (Graham), Jill Schneeberger (Robert Hayes) and William Sneeberger, two grandchildren, Ehlane Botha O'Connor and Derek Botha and two great grandchildren, Quinn and Marin O'Connor.After careers in Illinois, Bob and Marion retired to Ephraim. Marion had an active retirement including extensive worldwide travel, volunteer work, golfing, skiing and bridge. An invitation to Marion's table was an event to look forward to. She loved to entertain and cook for others. Her cheese bread was famous. At Christmastime friends would receive a platter which included at least 25 different varieties of home baked cookies. Marion embraced life and lived it to the fullest. You could count on her to lift your spirits since she had the ability to always see the good in things. Her glass was forever half full. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and person. She will be missed. In keeping with Marion's wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no services.
