Marion Keller Racine - Marion Keller, 84, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints on Tuesday, February 12, 2008. Marion was born in Sioux City, IA on October 11, 1923 to Nicholas and Rachael (nee, Rudolph) Dorsey. She married Martin Keller and he preceded her in death. Marion was a Kindergarten Teacher for over 30 years in Sloan, IA before moving to Racine four years ago. Marion was a very active member of Skien Lutheran Church in Sloan, IA and Emmaus Lutheran Church in Racine. Her faith and life are an example to many. She was a very active person, especially swimming and exercising, and was an avid bridge player, playing almost daily. Marion truly enjoyed the many new friends she made since her move to Racine. Marion is survived by her daughters, Carol (Dennis) Eschmann and Lanette Clendaniel; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Iverson; and sister-in-law, Verna Mae (Joe) Wilson. Marion is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, John Dorsey. Memorial services for Marion will be held at Emmaus Lutheran Church, 1925 Summit Avenue, on Saturday, February 16, 2008 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Donald A. Johnson officiating. Inurnment will take place in Ogallala, NE. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Saturday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of services. Memorials may be directed to Skein Lutheran Church, Emmaus Lutheran Church, or Racine Family Literacy.
