Marion Hensiak (nee Schilz) was born October 29, 1931 in Waukesha County, Wisconsin. She passed away on July 10, 2025, after continued declines in her health were simply too much to overcome. She was ushered into heaven after 93 years.
Marion was born to George and Elizabeth Schilz and was one of nine children. She is survived by two sisters, Betty(Don) and Theresa(the late Bob). In 1951 Marion was united in marriage to Richard Hensiak. They happily shared nearly 48 years of marriage before Richard passed away. Marion and Richard have three children who all survive her, Thomas (Bonnie), Christopher (Jolene) and Patricia.
Marion spent her life together with Richard, focused on providing for her family and enjoying their children, many relatives, and friends. She was an exceptionally hard worker – finally retiring at 82+ years. Marion was an avid reader, loved a good game of Dominoes and spent countless hours knitting and crocheting dozens of blankets and scarves she gladly donated to those in need on a regular basis. Marion always made helping those in need a priority for her time and talents. Marion was a member of First Evangelical Lutheran Church and knows her unending faith in God's Grace is what finally carried her home.
The family will celebrate that faith with a service on Friday, August 8, 2025 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 728 Villa Street, Racine, WI. The Service will start at 11 AM and the family will be available for visitation from 10 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to First Evangelical Lutheran Church (Racine), The Racine County Humane Society, or Racine County Food Bank.
