Marion Gebelian, 101, passed away at Ascension Spring Street on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.
Marion was born in Racine on April 13, 1925 to Artin and Akabe Jibilian (Gebelian). She graduated from Horlick High School. Marion began working for Western Printing after her graduation and worked there for over 48 years. She enjoyed bowling and trips to the casino. Marion was also known for her excellent cooking.
Marion is survived by her sister Margaret Gebelian, nieces Sue Baldwin, Angie (Rob) Elliott, and nephew Greg (Amy)Walters and great nieces and nephews. She is further survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Sarkis, Michael and James, sister Rosemay Walters and niece Patricia “Patty” Mrkdichian.
Funeral Services for Marion will be held at St. Merob Armenian Apostolic Church,4605 Erie Street on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Avedis Kalayjian officiating. Interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Memorials to St. Mesrob Armenian Apostolic Church have been Suggested.
