RACINE – Marilyn L. Schultz, 82, passed away at Ascension All Saints Hospital on Monday, March 12, 2018.Marilyn was born in Racine on July 25, 1935 to Charles and Frieda (nee, Habada) Musil. She graduated from St. Catherine's High School in 1953. In July 1960, she married Richard Schultz. Marilyn was a homemaker for many years while she raised her family, after which she was employed at CMC Collection Agency. She loved walking with her "Fast Feet" group at the JMBA Center; was active with her husband Dick with the Old Trimers Athletic Club. Every Friday she volunteered at the Racine Lutheran High School Thrift Shop. Marilyn was an avid Packers fan and loved "Happy Hour" with her daughters. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.She will be dearly missed by her husband, Richard "Dick" Schultz; children, Lynn (Steve) McNeilly, Al Schultz, Amy (Mark) Woody and Jon (Ingrid) Schultz; nine grandchildren, Heather (Angelo) Sackman, Andrew McNeilly, Natalie Schultz, Matthew and Michael D'Alie, A.J., Hannah, Nick and Christian Schultz; two great grandchildren, Addison and Logan Sackman; her sister, Charlene Jensen, sisters-in-law, Helen Miller, Karen Balke, Kelly Schultz, Betty (Dick) Amt, and brother-in-law Eric (Judy) Schultz. Marilyn is also survived by other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ray Musil; and her sister, Dorothy Peyton. A memorial visitation for Marilyn will be held at the funeral home on Friday, March 16, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the Racine Lutheran High School Thrift Shops. The family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to the nursing staff at Ascension All Saints and Grace Hospice for the compassionate care given to Marilyn and her family during this difficult time.
