Marilyn M. Cooper Racine - Marilyn M. Cooper, 76, passed away at Lakeshore Manor on Sunday, February 3, 2008. Marilyn was born on July 7, 1931 to Russell and Opal (nee, McVay) Strahl. Marilyn was a very strong and giving person. She always put others before herself. Marilyn is survived by her children, Randal Cooper, Kevin (Mary) Cooper and Sharon Conyn; grandchildren, Tiffany, Trevor, Brice, David, Zachary, Kristina, Jeremy, Emily and Kasey; great-grandchildren, Isabelle and Iverson; sisters and brother, Mildred Morse, Eva Barrett, Darlene Woodward, Maxine Lundstrom, Lillian Kramka, David Strahl; and Kathy Hall; and her step-mother, Margaret Jensen. Marilyn is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Lois and Isabelle. Memorial services for Marilyn will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at 10 a.m. with Rev. Hope Engeseth officiating. Private interment will take place at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of services.
