RACINE- Marie A. Peil, 97, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Ascension Healthcare- All Saints.Marie was born on September 3, 1920 to Nicholas and Martha (nee: Bruce) Muller. On April 8, 1953, she was united in marriage with Glenn Peil at Trinity Lutheran Church, where she was an active member since 1934.Marie graduated from Michael Reese Hospital School of Nursing-Chicago and was a registered nurse. After retiring, she worked with Glenn at Cape & Sons Construction. Marie is survived by her sister, Alice Hudec and special godchild, Patricia Meyer. She is further survived by nieces, Verna (Peil) Bass, Kathy Peil, Nancy Peil and Amy (Peil) Werlin. In addition to her parents and husband, Marie was predeceased by her sisters, Dorothy and Leone Muller and brother in law, Paul Hudec. A private service and burial was held at West Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Stephen Jennings and Rev. David Gehne of Trinity Lutheran Church officiating.
