Mariann Sophie Lucht, 90 passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 16, 2025.
She was born in Racine on September 9, 1935 to the late Jerome and Mary (nee: Lewandowski) Fatke.
Mariann was 1953 graduate of St. Catherine's High School.
On May 4, 1981, in Las Vegas, she married Ronald Lucht. Sadly, He preceded her in death on January 29, 2005.
She was employed as a retail manager for Southland Corp. until her retirement.
Mariann was a member of St. Lucy Catholic Church and a former member of the Racine Lions Club. She was an incredibly meticulous homemaker. Mariann was very social; she enjoyed reading, playing cards, shopping and walking the mall with friends. She was an avid Badger fan who loved to golf and cut a rug.
She is survived by her daughters Julie (Edward) Adelsen and Lisa Standiford; her son Kevin Hazlett; her step-son David( Kristen) Lucht; her grandchildren Brittany (Anthony) Ragona, Ariel (Andrew) Dimitrijevic, Haley (Ricky) Kauffman, Cole Standiford and Gabby Lucht; her six great-grandchildren; her brother Richard (Loretta) Fatke and her sister Kathy Robinson.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mariann was preceded in death by her son Brian Hazlett; her nephews Richard Fatke, Michael Fatke and Craig Robinson; and her brother-in-law William Robinson.
Funeral Services for Mariann will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Purath-Strand Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Private inurnment will be held in Calvary Cemetery at a later date.
