Racine – Margarete E. Plachter, 81, passed away at her home on Saturday, October 10, 2009. Margarete was born in Germany on February 28, 1928 to Albert and Elizabeth (nee, Wagner) Scheuble. She married Rolf Plachter in Germany in 1950. Margaret was a seamstress by trade, moving the United States with Rolf in September 1953. Margarete's passion in life was her family especially her children. Survivors include her husband, Rolf Plachter; children, Fred Plachter, Cindy Petz and Richard Plachter; grandchildren, Brad Plachter, Matt Plachter and Jarod Petz; and 4 great-grandchildren. Margarete is also survived by a brother and three sisters in Germany. Private family services will be held.
