Margaret G. Mann Racine-Margaret Gertrude Mann, age 92, passed away on June 1, 2008. Margaret was born on October 26, 1915, in Racine WI to Arthur and Alma Olson. After graduating from Washington Park High School, Racine, she worked as an executive secretary for 17 years at the J.I. Case Co. in Racine. While accompanying the Case Choraliers, a men's chorus, Margaret met Ervin Mann. They were married on September 13, 1952 at Grace Lutheran Church in Racine. He preceded her in death on November 23, 1991. Margaret was the organist at St. Paul's Lutheran Church and Grace Lutheran Church for many years, in addition to playing piano for many community events. Margaret is survived by 2 sons, 1 daughter, 14 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Gerald Mann of Racine and children: Barbara (Todd) Suiter of Kansasville, WI, with Stephanie, Ryan and Anthony; Kevin (Linda) Mann of Racine with Dustin, Noah and Zachary; Keith (Debra) Mann of Racine with Riley and Tristen. Gretchen (Dr.Philip) Grosnick of Watertown, WI, with Timothy (Heidi) of Dixon, IL, Michael (fiancee Shannon Stubbe) of Grafton, Daniel, Joel, Abigail and Benjamin. Margaret is also survived by one sister-in-law, Maxine Olson of San Francisco, CA, one sister-in-law, Luella Zuehlke of Racine, one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Laverne and Beverly Mann of Willow Lake, SD, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Margaret was also preceded in death by twin brothers in infancy, her parents, one brother Robert, and one daughter- in-law, Kaye. A service celebrating Margaret's life will be held on Friday, June 6, 2008 at 11 AM at Grace Lutheran Church, 3700 Washington Ave. Racine, WI. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM prior to the service. Interment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be given in Margaret's name to Grace Lutheran Church in Racine, Hospice Alliance in Racine, or the charity of one's choice. Margaret's family would like to thank the staff at Bay Pointe, Lincoln Convalescent Center, and Hospice Alliance for their care. A special thank you goes to Margaret's Angels for the love they shared with Mom during her last days.
