Marcella M. Heintz Racine - Marcella M. Heintz, 89, passed away at St. Catherine's Hospital in Kenosha on Wednesday, December 19, 2007. Marcie was born in Racine on January 5, 1918 to Joseph and Marcella (nee, Neiderhofer) Farrell. She married Marvin Heintz at St. Edward Catholic Church on November 26, 1949. He preceded her in death on May 24, 2000. Marcie had worked for Hartman Trunk, Walker Mfg. and Hamilton Beach before retiring from Gerald Proost & Sons. Marcie enjoyed being a homemaker, spending her time gardening, baking, canning and sewing. In retirement, Marcie belonged to two neighbor card clubs, playing Bridge and Schafkopf for over 50 years. She was also an avid golfer playing in three leagues with her daughter, Mary. Marcie also served on the Board of Directors of the ARC of Racine. Marcie is survived by her children, Richard (Elayne) Heintz, Mary (Lee) Sederberg and Linda Heintz; grandchildren, Joseph (Dianne) Heintz, Lisa (Shane) Huebel, Amy Heintz, Stephanie (Joe) Golemba, and Gabriel, Andrew and Nathan Sederberg; great-grandchildren, Mason and Mercedes Huebel, Amanda and Jonathan Golemba, and Caleb Heintz; and her sister-in-law, Elaine Christensen. Marcie is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother and sisters-in-law, James and Doris Farrell, and Connie Hunt. The Mass of Christian Burial for Marcie will be held at St. Edward's Catholic Church, 1425 Grove Avenue, on Friday, December 21, 2007 at 6:30 p.m. celebrated by Rev. Allen Bratkowski. Entombment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery Mausoleum, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the church on Friday from 4:30 p.m. until the time of Mass. Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association or the ARC of Racine.
