RACINE – Lynne Dee Murphy, 69, passed away at Ascension All Saints Hospital on Thursday, March 9, 2017. Lynne was born in Wisconsin on April 23, 1947 to Courtney and Blossom (nee, Londre) Rowlands. Lynne obtained a Masters degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. She worked for many years as a social worker. Lynne was an avid quilter and knitter and was involved in various crafting endeavors both privately and within the community. Survivors include her children, Ryan Murphy and Erin Krencisz (Murphy); grandchildren, Kyler and Arilyn Murphy, Markus, Mackenzie, and Eleanor Krencisz; brother, Daryl Rowlands. Lynne is also survived by many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Courtney and Blossom Rowlands, and her grandson Kyren Murphy. Funeral services for Lynne will be held at the funeral home on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 7pm. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the funeral home on Monday from 5pm until the time of the service at 7pm. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family.
