Luz Patricia Gutierrez Ramos, 61 years old, passed away Thursday, December 31st 2020 in her Racine home. Patricia was born on February 25, 1959 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. Her infancy and youth was spent in her hometown of Guadalajara, Jalisco alongside her siblings and her parents Ma de la Luz Ramos Chavez and Raul Gutierrez de la Torre. Patricia was the eldest of 8 siblings: Silvia Yolanda, Martha Ruth, Lidia Adriana, Rocio Manuela, Gerardo Raul, Lourdes Cristina and Liliana Gabriela.She never had children, but she was great with them. For her nieces and nephews she was like a second mother. She finished part of her studies in Mexico where she graduated as an Executive Secretary. Later on, in her life she moved to Kenosha, WI with her grandma Sara Perez. In Kenosha she attended Gateway Technical College and the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction where she specialized in General Education Development.Patricia was characterized by her spirited service, she worked in Head Start of Kenosha where day in and day out she shared love, happiness, and dedication with her students and coworkers. Part of her free-time she used her ability to speak both Spanish and English to help further the Latinx/ Hispanic community of Kenosha by helping register a lot of 1st generation children to school. She loved listening to music, she enjoyed talking for long hours with her dearest loved ones, she loved making friends and going shopping. Her last days were spent visiting the elderly in nursing homes to give them company.Surviving Patricia are her mother Luz, her sisters Yolanda, Adriana, Rocio, Cristina, Liliana, her brother Raul, her 14 nieces and 17 nephews. She also left many dear friends. Preceding her in death are her father Raul and her sister Martha; her maternal grandparents Sara and Salvador Perez and her paternal grandparents Jesus Gutierrez and Manuela de la TorrePatricia's family is grateful for the love and unconditional help of her friends Alfredo Chavez, Jessica, Elaine, Barbara, Eva and Juanita. We are thankful as well for the help of Father Carlos and Father Gerry Hessel for helping Pat through times of hardship.Our Beloved Patricia knew life better than anyone, she lived it and enjoyed it in her special way by always stopping to observe every beautiful detail in life with awe and wonder. She enjoyed celebrating her family in cherished every triumph that her family had. She loved her loved ones intensely and always shared positive messages which we will all miss. Paty nació el 25 de febrero de 1959 en Guadalajara, Jalisco, México. Su infancia y juventud la pasó en su ciudad natal, Guadalajara, al lado de sus padres Raúl Gutiérrez De la Torre y Ma de La Luz Ramos Chávez y sus hermanos. Paty fue la mayor de 8 hermanos, Silvia Yolanda, Martha Ruth, Lidia Adriana, Rocío Manuela, Gerardo Raúl, Lourdes Cristina y Liliana Gabriela. Nunca tuvo hijos, pero era genial con los niños, para sus sobrinos y sobrinas fue como una segunda madre. Parte de sus estudios los concluyó en México, donde se graduó de Secretaria Ejecutiva. Más adelante se mudaría a Kenosha Wisconsin con su abuelita Sara Pérez. Se especializó en el Desarollamiento de Educación General en Gateway Technical College de Kenosha y en el Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. Paty se caracterizaba por su espíritu de servicio, trabajó en Head Start donde cada día compartió amor, alegría y dedicación. Parte de su tiempo libre lo dedicaba a ayudar a la comunidad latina en la corte, en los hospitales y en las escuelas. Disfrutaba escuchar música, platicar con sus seres queridos por largas horas, hacer amigos y amaba ir de compras. Sus últimos días los pasó haciendo labor social visitando a gente de la tercera edad que se encontraba confinada y sin compañía en asilos. Le sobreviven su madre Luz, sus hermanas Yola, Adriana, Rocío, Cristina, Liliana y su hermano Raúl. Sus 11 sobrinas y 8 sobrinos; 8 sobrinos nietos y 3 sobrinas nietas y 1 sobrino bisnieto. Así como muchos amigos. Le preceden en la muerte su Padre Raúl, su hermana Martha; sus abuelitos Sara y Salvador Pérez y sus abuelos paternos Jesús Gutierrez y Manuela de la Torre. La familia de Paty le agradece el cariño y ayuda incondicional a sus amigas Jessica, Elaine, Barbara, Eva y Juanita. A su gran amigo y compadre Alfredo Chávez y al padre Carlos Flórez y Gerry Hassel. Nuestra querida Paty entendía la vida mejor que nadie, vivía y disfrutaba a su manera, sin prisas, deteniéndose a observar con sorpresa cada detalle lindo de esta vida y celebrando cada alegría de los demás cómo si fuera propia, amó intensamente a todos sus seres queridos e iba compartiendo siempre mensajes positivos que todos extrañaremos. Y como ella decía ¡Te queremos con toda nuestra alma Paty! El funeral será llevado a cabo el 31 de enero de 2021 en la funeraria Purath Strand, 3915 Douglas Ave, Racine, WI 53402, Estados Unidos de 12-4 pm.
