Obituary

Lucille E. Weidner Racine - Lucille E. (nee, Reuille) Weidner, 87, passed way at Harbor House in Kenosha on Wednesday, March 21, 2007. Lucille was born in Racine on April 20, 1919 to Xavier and Ruth Reuille. She married Richard O. Weidner in Racine on October 28, 1945. He preceded her in death on October 15, 1998. Lucille retired from Sears. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church where she was active in the Mission Guild and the Ladies Sewing Circle. Lucille was a member of the Racine Lutheran High School Ladies Guild and volunteered at the Lutheran High School Thrift Store for over 28 years. Survivors include her children, Don (Ellen) Weidner, Tim (Jan) Weidner and Nancy (Phil) Gardanier; grandchildren, Ben (Hannah), Rebecca, Peter (Susan), Seth (Khristy), Micah (Bri), Samuel, Luke, Daniel (Whitney), Elizabeth, Sara, Matthew (Rebecca), Maggie and Adam; and 8 great grandchildren. Lucille is also survived by other relatives, friends and her extended family at Harbor House. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Pearl Towse and Betty Mitchell; and brother, Don Reuille. Funeral services for Lucille will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, 1501 Erie Street, on Monday, March 26, 2007 at 10 a.m. with Rev. John Schmidt officiating. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Sunday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. and at the church on Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of services. Memorials may be directed to St. John's Lutheran Church. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Hospice Alliance for all of their care and compassion.
