RACINE – Lucille Seyferth, 91, passed away at Ignite Hospice in Oak Creek on Saturday, August 28, 2021. Lucille was born in Netawaka, Kansas on December 24, 1929, to the late Rev. Otto and Elda (nee, Haubein) Mueller. Her parents preceded her in death along with her sisters Doris and Geraldine and her brother Norbert. Lucille graduated from Valparaiso University and got her first teaching position in Racine. Lucille taught school at Trinity Lutheran School and Racine Lutheran High School. She was very active in her church including Lutheran Laymen's League where she met Ronald Seyferth. On June 26, 1955, Lucille married Ronald L. Seyferth. He preceded her in death on July 6, 2020. Survivors include her sons, Larry (Maureen) Seyferth, Randy (Theresa) Seyferth, John (Mary) Seyferth and Todd (Pam) Seyferth; her grandchildren, Jason, Matthew, Sarah, Heather, Blake, Steven and Abbey; and six great grandchildren. Lucille is also survived by other relatives and friends. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday Oct 22, 2021, at Trinity Lutheran Church. Located at 2065 Geneva Street in Racine. Visitation is from 10 am - 11 am and the Funeral Service starts at 11 am. Later a private family Inurnment service will take place at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
