Racine – Lucille G. (nee, Kuehnemann) Majewski, 93, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints on Friday, March 21, 2014. Lucille was born in Racine on July 1, 1920 to Herbert and Bertha (nee, Paul) Kuehnemann. She married Eugene S. Majewski at St. Patrick's Catholic Church on March 6, 1943. He preceded her in death on May 6, 2005. Lucille was a member of St.Richard of Chichester Catholic Church. She was employed by Webster Electric Co., prior to her marriage and while her husband was overseas serving in the military during World War II. She also worked part time at Gleason Manufacturing Co. in Racine for several years. Lucille was a dedicated homemaker whose number one priority was caring for family and raising three children. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church Christian Mother's Altar Society. Lucille enjoyed taking senior citizen trips, dining with friends, cooking and baking. She also enjoyed visits from family and friends and looking at old photos.Survivors include her children, Susan (David) Arvai, Gene (Linda) Majewski, Jr. and Sally (Paul) Bialecki; grandchildren, Cindy, Gary, Mike and David, Jr.; great grandchildren, Sophie, Max, Talia, Olivia, Jackson and Elizabeth; and her sisters, Arlene and Joyce. Lucille is also survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters and a brother.The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Richard Catholic Church, 1509 Grand Avenue, on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at 11:30 a.m. Entombment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Wednesday morning from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Richard Catholic Church in her memory.The family would like to extend a special thanks to the caring nursing staff at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints Hospital.
