Loris Grace Thomas, 75, passed away at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee on Thursday, September 26, 2019. Loris was born in Cudahy on March 26, 1944 to Leon and Marie (nee, Schattner) Zimdars. She married Dean E. Thomas, He preceded her in death on January 15, 2012. Loris had worked at Kohls Department Store. She loved to knit and crochet and volunteered her time making scarfs, lap afghans for veterans, and afghans for the nursery at the hospitals. She adored her great grandson, Kayden who made her last days more enjoyable. Survivors include her children, Tammy (Dan) Fleming, Terri Bisher, Tracy (Kelly) Thomas, Trevor (Gail) Thomas and Tricia (Keith) Thomas; grandchildren, Jessica, Victoria, Josh, Ashley, Alexis, Alyssa, Justin, Shane and Kelly; six great grandchildren; her sister, Rita Branam; special niece, Nicole Branam and very dear friend, Yvonne Lewandowski. Loris was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Marjorie Wisniewski and Audrey Holst. In keeping with Loris' wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family entombment will take place at Forest Hill Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
