RACINE – Loisjean Petricek, 70, passed away at home on Wednesday, April 20, 2016. Loisjean was born in Racine on August 26, 1945 to Arthur M.M. and Nerea (nee, Jeskey) Haack. She married Robert Petricek, Sr., celebrating over 52 years of marriage. Loisjean was an avid reader and sewer, sewing for several local resale shops. She loved crossword puzzles, playing cards and board games, especially spending time with her family on "game day". Survivors include her husband, Robert Petricek, Sr.; children, Rhys (Mary) Petricek, Roberta-Rae (Paul) Betker and Rhonda (Christopher) Semke; grandchildren, Ariel, Jessica, Victoria, Harrison, Geneva, Chase, Samuel, Jacob and Veronica; and her sister, Barbara (Andre) Cariello. Loisjean is also survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Carroll and Viola Petricek; her son, Robert Petricek, Jr. and granddaughter, Casey Petricek. A memorial gathering for Loisjean will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, April 24, 2016 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. A prayer service will be held at 3 p.m. A private family inurnment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
