Racine – Lois E. Schoenike, 88, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints on Monday, January 17, 2011. Lois was born on July 26, 1922 to Fred and Renee (nee, Francois) Heckendorn. She married Norbert Schoenike on September 19, 1940 in Johnson Creek, WI. He preceded her in death. Lois was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. Lois is survived by her daughter, June Klingbeil; granddaughter, Michele (Nathan) Burton and their children, Andrew, Matthew, Noah and Jacob Burton; granddaughter, Theresa (Michael) Uden and their children, Siri, Alexa, Chase and Zebediah; and her brother, Robert (Betty) Heckendorn. Lois is also survived by other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Clifford Klingbeil; brothers and sister. A memorial service will be held at the Roselawn Cemetery chapel in Madison. Memorials may be directed to the family, to be designated at a later date.
