Racine – Lois Genevieve Johnson, 89, passed away at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints on Monday, November 26, 2012. Lois was born in Menominee, WI on September 3, 1923 to Harold L. and Nettie E. (nee, Brazelton) Larrabee. She married Orville L. Johnson in Forest Center, WI on June 15, 1944. He preceded her in death on August 17, 1998. Lois was a very active member of Community Church of the Nazarene and Taylor Avenue Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed her daily weather recordings, baking, watching birds, working with her flowers and gardening. She enjoyed canning what she grew. Lois was also a Packer and Brewer fan. Survivors include her children, Marcine 'Susie' (Dick) Sutherland and Stanley (Debra) Johnson; grandchildren, Angela Johnson, Jeremy Johnson, Kari (Brad) Taylor, Kendra (Brandon) Stuckey, Joshua Johnson and Courtney Johnson; great-grandchildren, Ava and Jaxon Johnson, and Braden and Keaton Taylor; brothers and sisters, Vern (Marlene) Larrabee, Ada Green, Ray (Estie) Larrabee, Lela Zehrt, Charlotte (Bob) Meltesen and Eileen (Milt) Schulz. Lois is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Dean Johnson; granddaughter, Sarah Johnson; and brothers-in-law, Jim Green and Carl Zehrt. Funeral services for Lois will be held at the funeral home, on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 6:30 p.m. Interment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5 p.m. until the time of the service.
