Racine – Lloyd M. Dieck, 90, passed away at his home on April 26, 2012. Lloyd was born in Marion, WI on December 12, 1921 to Frank A. and Anna (Ott) Dieck. He moved to Racine in 1956. Lloyd married the former LaVerna A. Piotraschke on June 17, 1944. She preceded him in death on December 15, 1989. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Lloyd retired from the Laddish Company after more than 27 years. He was a member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Caledonia. Lloyd loved going to auctions and tinkering around the house. Lloyd is survived by his children, Daniel (Patricia) Dieck and Kathryn (William) Ferguson; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his sisters, Beverly (James) Stoltz and Pearl Dieck; and brother, Arlyn (Louise) Dieck. Lloyd is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sons, Lloyd, Larry, James and William Dieck. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home on Friday evening, May 4, 2012 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Funeral services for Lloyd will be held at Eberhardt Stevenson Funeral Home, Marion, WI on Monday, May 7, 2012 at 2 p.m. followed by interment at Roseland Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the American Legion.
