Lisa A. Jelinek, 56, passed away peacefully at Hospice House-Pleasant Prairie on Friday, February 28, 2025.
Lisa was born in Racine on February 3, 1969, to Gene and Loreen (nee: Markus) Jelinek. She dedicated many years of service to the Andis Company. Lisa was an avid Wisconsin sports fan, passionately supporting the Brewers and the Packers. She cherished sunny days and warm weather. Lisa found joy in shopping for and spoiling her great nephew and niece.
Lisa is survived by her mother, Loreen Jelinek; brother, Jeff (Lori Greer) Jelinek; nephews, Brandon and Christopher (Clair) Jelinek; great-nephew, Connor; great-niece, Lydia; and her beloved furbaby, Chloe. She was preceded in death by her father Gene.
A private interment service will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park. A memorial luncheon will be held at Smokehouse 20 (Inside the Delta Hotel) , 7111 Washington Avenue on Friday, March 14 at 1:00 p.m. In Lieu of flowers, Memorials to the Wisconsin Humane Society-Racine Campus have been suggested.
Lisa would like to thank her brother Jeff for everything that he has done for her "I Love You Sarge" , her friends Theresa, Patty and Danielle for all of the good times and friendship. The nurses and CNA's at Hospice House for the wonderful care and to Jackie, Beth, Connie and Chaplain Matt for going above and beyond. A special thank you to Jackie and Mike for adopting Chloe and loving her as much as Lisa did.
