Obituary
She was born in Racine on June 17, 1949 to the late John and Junella (nee: Harper) Krahn.
Linda was a 1967 graduate of William Horlick High School and a licensed cosmetologist. On October 16, 1971 she married Larry Kapellusch.
Linda was employed as a beautician at Beste Beauty salon, an optical assistant at Racine Optical and finally as a store layout and merchandise display specialist at Milaeger's for 15 years until her retirement in 2008. She later worked seasonally in the greenhouse and as cashier at Wayne's Daughters Greenhouses.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years Larry Kapellusch; sons Aaron (Amy) Kapellusch and Brian Kapellusch; her grandchildren Ella and Milo Kapellusch and her brother Earl "Larry" (Linda) Krahn.
In addition to her parents, Linda is preceded in death by her brother John "Nick" Krahn and sister-in-law Kathy Krahn, and her sister Judith Weinfurter.
A memorial service for Linda will be held on Monday, August 18, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at United Lutheran Church, 3825 Erie Street, Racine, WI 53402. Relatives and friends may meet with the family from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Private inurnment will be held in West Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741 have been suggested.
