Racine – Linda A. Christensen, 59, passed away at her home with her loving son by her side, on Sunday, June 3, 2012. Linda was born in Racine on April 1, 1953 to Rudolph M. and Mary (nee, Kroes) Zerzanek. She married James R. Christensen at St. Rita's Church on February 8, 1974. He preceded her in death on May 21, 2008. She was employed by Vesta, Inc. in Franklin for over 29 years. Linda loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed going up north fishing and spending time at her cabin.Linda is survived by her children, Jeremy (Tanya) Christensen and his twin sister, Jodi Zanis, who preceded her mother in death on February 17, 2006; her son-in-law, Christopher Zanis; grandchildren, Kourtney, Jordan and Hunter Zanis, and Kylee, Kage and Kinzie Christensen; great-grandson, Mason Zanis; mother, Mary Zerzanek; brothers and sisters, Rudy (Pam) Zerzanek, Judy (Frank) Tomachek, Kathy (David) Horvath, Daniel (Barb) Zerzanek, Randal (Tara) Zerzanek, Greg (Zana) Zerzanek and Leslie (Bart) Stefanie; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Sharon Fenkl, Robert (Helen) Christensen, Richard Christensen, Jr., Thomas Christensen and Ronald Christensen. Linda is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father.A Memorial Mass for Linda will be held at St. Rita's Parish, on Friday, June 8, 2012 at 5 p.m. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Friday afternoon from 3 p.m. until the time of the Mass.
