LeRoy R. UdellRACINE – LeRoy R. Udell, 83, passed away at Zilber Family Hospice in Wauwatosa on June 18, 2021.LeRoy was born in Racine on May 22, 1938 to the late Raymond and Ida (nee, Casper) Udell. LeRoy married the former Mary Jo Farina (preceded in death). While attending a grief support group he met Mae Kinsley and were married for 31 years.Survivors include his wife, Mae Kinsley-Udell; Dianna (Mark) Otto, Lynn (Matthew) Sobon, Dawn Udell, Dolores (Rick) Krencisz, Sue Trevino, Ray (Carol) Kinsley, Barb (Tom) Trevino, Mike (Sue) Kinsley, Gary (Janet) Kinsley With a clan of 29 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and growing!After high school LeRoy served in the U.S. Army Reserves for approximately 3 years. When he returned home he accepted a job at Rainfair Inc where he worked for 41 years until his retirement in 2000. LeRoy enjoyed their cabin in Winter Wi, where they would visit family and go deer hunting every season with family and friends.LeRoy became a certified swim official for the Racine Aquatic Club where his daughters swam. He was a member of the Kenosha Moose Lodge #286 and the Racine County Rifle Club where he volunteered. Nearly every weekday he met with his friends for coffee at Shooters Gun club. LeRoy enjoyed bowling for many years, golfing, fishing card games and cribbage matchesMost of all he loved the time he spent with his family and enjoyed meeting the new babies of the family.Visitation and memorial services for LeRoy will be held at the funeral home on Saturday June 26, 2021. Interment will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends are invited to meet with the family at the funeral home from 9:30am-11:00am until the time of the service from 11:00am-11:30am.
